Wander, an Austin-based travel company, has announced that it has raised a US$20 million Series A to continuing building its travel experience. QED led the round, with participation from Redpoint Ventures, Authentic Ventures, Fifthwall, Susa Ventures, Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s Thirty Five Ventures, Packy McCormick, Sahil Bloom, Todd & Rahul’s Angel Fund, Alumni Ventures, Vibe Capital, Socially Financed, Bluewatch Ventures, hnvr, a16z, among others.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Wander.com, Inc. in the financing with a corporate deal team led by Austin partner Scott Craig, with Chicago associates Omar Ammash and Autumn Schmidt. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Chicago partner Rene de Vera.
