Counted from the party names as the courts record them, across every judgment and order in the index. An organisation appears here because it is named as a party, which says nothing about the merits or the outcome of any case. Individuals are deliberately not counted.

How this index is built, and what it does not contain

Records are taken from the judgments and orders published by each court on its own website. Nothing here is reproduced beyond the case reference, the parties as the court names them, the date, the division and the document type. Every row links to the court's own page, which is the authoritative text.

What is in it

  • DIFC Courts: Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal, Small Claims Tribunal, Arbitration, the Technology and Construction Division, the Digital Economy Court, and enforcement and administrative orders.
  • ADGM Courts: the judgments currently listed on the ADGM Courts judgments page, with their neutral citations.

What is not in it, and why

  • The law firms and counsel on record. Neither court names representation in its published listing, so it cannot be extracted at scale from the public data. Where a firm appears in a case name it is there as a party, not as counsel.
  • The judge. The DIFC listing gives the division and document type but not the presiding judge, so that field is not indexed. It appears in the judgment text itself.
  • ADGM depth. The ADGM Courts page exposes only its most recent judgments at a time. Coverage there grows as new ones are published rather than reaching back.
