How to send an announcement
Submit it on the Legal Desire Press Desk. Register once with your work email and you can send press releases, deal announcements and bylined articles, follow each one through review, and get the live link by email the moment it publishes.
Every organisation gets its first five submissions free. PR agencies can register too and submit releases and deal announcements for their clients.

For a deal
Parties, deal value if disclosable, the firms on each side, the lead partners and their teams, and the closing date. Deal announcements without named counsel are much less useful to our readers and much less likely to be picked up.
For an appointment
Name, incoming role, practice area, office, previous firm and role, start date, and a short quote from the hiring partner or managing partner if you have one.
Turnaround and review
Every submission is reviewed before it goes live. Nothing publishes automatically. We check that the announcement is accurate, that the parties are identifiable, and that anything presented as fact can be verified.
Free submissions are published within two to three working days of approval, and paid submissions within 24 hours, weekends included. Placement is permanent, indexed by Google News, and shared through our social channels and newsletter.
What it costs
Your first five submissions are free. Every organisation gets five free press releases, deal announcements or articles, reviewed by our editors and published within two to three working days.
After that, a single expedited release is $250 and goes live within 24 hours, weekends included. Firms and agencies that announce regularly take the Publisher Plan at $450 a month or $5,000 a year, for unlimited submissions published within 24 hours.
There is no card checkout. Request a plan from your Press Desk dashboard and we email you the invoice and payment details.
What we will not publish
Announcements we cannot verify, anything defamatory, gambling, adult content and crypto promotion. Commercial announcements are labelled as partner content where our editorial standards require it.
