For legal technology companies
Put your product in front of the people who sign the purchase order.Legal Desire has covered this industry since 2012. Our readers are practising lawyers, general counsel, firm partners and legal operations teams, which is to say the people who actually choose and approve legal technology.

Why this audience is different
Most legal technology marketing is spent reaching people who cannot buy. This one reaches people who can.
Decision makers, not students
Firm partners, general counsel, in-house teams and legal operations staff. The people whose signature a purchase order needs, rather than a general business audience that happens to mention law.
The markets you sell into
United States, United Kingdom, Europe and the Gulf. If your pipeline is transatlantic or you are trying to open the Gulf, this is the readership you want.
Fourteen years of it
Published since 2012. More than 20,000 stories, 12,000 tracked deals, and coverage of legal technology funding, launches and the products that quietly disappeared.
What we can do
Six ways to work with us
All quoted rather than listed, because the right answer depends on your category, your stage and how long you want to run it.
Enhanced directory listing
Your listing, expanded and made to work harder.
- Longer description and your positioning in your own words
- Logo and screenshots
- Top placement in your category
- Labelled as sponsored, always
Category sponsorship
Own a category page outright for a set period.
- Your product presented first on the category page
- Placement on the directory hub
- One category, one sponsor, no rotation
- Reported on monthly with real numbers
Founder or product interview
The format that works best for products at an early stage.
- Questions in advance, always
- Written up properly, not transcribed
- You approve facts, we keep the framing
- Permanent page, plus newsletter and social
Newsletter sponsorship
A slot in Legal Desire Insider, our weekly letter on legal tech and legal marketing.
- One sponsor per issue
- Written to be read, not skipped
- Clearly labelled
- Click reporting after each send
Sponsored analysis
A substantial piece on the problem your product solves, rather than on your product.
- We research and write it
- Labelled as sponsored
- Built to rank and to be cited
- Yours to reuse in your own marketing
Research partnership
Original data on the legal market, published with your name on it.
- Survey or dataset designed together
- We handle fieldwork and write-up
- The kind of asset the trade press picks up
- Longest lead time, highest return
What we will not do
Worth saying plainly, because it is the reason the listings are worth appearing in.
- We will not run a paid placement without labelling it as one, on the page and in the structured data.
- We will not remove or move a listing because a competitor bought something.
- We will not write that a product is the best when we have no basis for saying so.
- We will not sell a followed link. Paid placements carry the sponsored attribute, which is what the search engines ask for and what protects both of us.

Questions
What vendors ask us first
Who reads Legal Desire?
Lawyers in private practice, general counsel and in-house teams, firm partners and legal operations staff, across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Gulf. We have published legal industry news and analysis since 2012, more than 20,000 stories and 12,000 tracked deals, and more than 2,000 lawyers and firms have published with us.
How does a listing work?
Tell us about the product through the form and we will come back with the options and the numbers for your category. Placements run for a set period, carry a sponsored label, and can be combined with an interview or a newsletter slot if you want more than a directory entry.
Will a paid placement be labelled?
Yes, on the page and in the structured data, every time. We are a publisher before we are anything else and our readers are lawyers, which is not an audience you get away with misleading twice.
Do you write the sponsored content yourselves?
We write it, you approve it for factual accuracy, and we keep editorial judgement on the framing. We will not publish a piece that reads like a press release, because nobody finishes those and you would be paying for something nobody reads.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format, the category and the length of the commitment, so we quote rather than list prices. Tell us what you are trying to achieve through the form and you will get real numbers back within one business day, along with an honest view on whether it is worth it for a product at your stage.
Can we do this if we are pre-launch?
Yes, and an interview is usually the better format at that stage than a listing. A product with no customers yet has a story rather than a track record, and the story is what this audience will read.
