Kirkland & Ellis advised Vista Equity portfolio company Cvent on its $5 billion business combination with Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp. II (Nasdaq: DGNS), a special purpose acquisition company. Cvent is a a market-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider. The business combination agreement was signed on July 23, 2021, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
