IndiGo Airlines moves SC against Delhi HC order asking it to shift to T2

IndiGo Airlines on Monday approached the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court order asking it to shift part of its operations to Terminal 2 at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi.

Earlier in 2017, the Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) had asked Indigo, SpiceJet and GoAir to shift some of its flight operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 in order to continue the expansion work of the Delhi airport.

Indigo had appealed to the Delhi High Court against DIAL order, but the High Court dismissed the appeal.

The High Court had observed that the airline was only bothered about the commercial interests, whereas DIAL’s order was just. (ANI)
