Global law firm Dentons advised the owners and founders of AixSwiss BV, a market leading probiotic nutraceutical supplement provider, on the sale of 100% of their shares to private equity backed Vision Healthcare, a fast-growing European digital-first omnichannel consumer healthcare platform.
AixSwiss was established in 2015 and operates under the “Nupure” probiotic brand, selling its supplements mainly through its own direct-to-consumer e-store, Amazon International marketplaces and e-pharma channels. Based in the Netherlands, AixSwiss serves a customer base predominantly in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The acquisition will open new growth avenues for the Nupure brand as well as for Vision Healthcare’s expanding one-stop-shop platform.
Dr. Volker Junghanns (Frankfurt) and Kuif Klein Wassink (Amsterdam) led the Dentons legal team that advised AixSwiss, with assistance from Nick de Rooij and Kevin Boekhout (both Amsterdam), Celine Brunnett (Frankfurt) and Laurens Engelen (Brussels).
