Slaughter and May advised Global Foods Solutions (and its affiliates) on its acquisition acquisition of CSM’s bakery ingredients business (“CSM Ingredients”). Global Foods Solutions is an independently managed subsidiary of Investindustrial VII L.P., a fund managed by Investindustrial Advisors Limited. CSM Ingredients is a manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of bakery ingredients and generates annual revenues of approximately €500 million. The main markets in Europe are Germany, Italy, France, the UK and Benelux, with a growing presence in China and wider Asia.
Slaughter and May worked as an integrated team including Best Friends, Bredin Prat, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Hengeler Mueller and Uría Menéndez, as well as Eubelius, Chiomenti and Elvinger Hoss Prussen.
