Sidley represented the joint placing agents CLSA Limited and Haitong International Securities Company Limited in the placing of 20.7 million new H shares under general mandate by InnoScience (Suzhou) Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 2577) (InnoScience). The net proceeds to be received are estimated to be HK$1.55 billion (US$199 million).
In December 2024, Sidley advised on the initial public offering and H share listing of InnoScience. In July 2025, Sidley also advised on InnoScience’s first placement of new H shares.
InnoScience is the first Integrated Device Manufacturer in the world that has achieved mass production of eight-inch Gallium Nitride on Silicon (GaN-on-Si) wafers, and the only company that offers a full voltage spectrum of GaN-on-Si semiconductor products on an industrial scale. It houses the world’s largest GaN power semiconductor production base.
