
Ropes & Gray has advised Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), a co-investor in Visma – a leading provider of mission-critical cloud software in Europe and Latin-America – on a secondary sale of Visma shares, with over €1 billion of equity investment from new investors including Jane Street, CalPERS, NPS, Altaroc and NYC Retirement System and around €3 billion net new investment from existing shareholders, including ICG, Hg, GIC, TPG and Visma management.
The transaction, which values Visma at €19 billion, will support the company’s growth strategy of international expansion and product innovation.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity transactions partner Helen Croke, with associates Nick Matthewand Will Allen. Other members of the team included finance partner Alex Robb and tax partner Chris Agnoli.
