Linklaters advises Texas Energy Company PetroTel in $300 million financing from DFC to develop oil and gas fields in Oman

Linklaters has advised PetroTel Oman LLC, in a $300 million financing from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC, formerly OPIC) for an oil and gas project in Oman.

PetroTel will use the funds to develop oil and gas fields in Oman’s Musandam peninsula, build facilities, and construct a three-kilometer onshore gas pipeline to the nearby processing facilities. The oil produced will be sold to international markets using an offshore loading terminal.
