Linklaters advises Prax Group on acquisition of Lindsey Oil Refinery from Total

Linklaters has advised the Prax Group on the acquisition of Lindsey Oil Refinery and associated logistic assets, including the Finaline Pipeline, Killingholme Loading Terminal and interests in various joint venture operations, from Total.

The acquisition will integrate the refinery and associated product flows into Prax’s UK distribution and retail footprint, which operates under the Harvest Energy brand. The deal will bring new investment to the refinery and will also support the local economy and the wider community.

The transaction was led by London partners Chris Staples (Corporate), Owen Clay (Corporate) and Jeremy Gewirtz (Energy & Infrastructure), with Associate Thomas Bishop (Corporate).

Subject to satisfaction of certain conditions customary for a transaction of this nature, the transaction is expected to complete by the end of 2020
