Linklaters advises Porsche AG on the sale of MHP Management and IT-Beratung GmbH

Linklaters has advised Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG on the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary MHP Management und IT-Beratung GmbH (MHP) to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

Headquartered in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, the MHP Group employs more than 4,500 people worldwide and is one of the leading international management and IT consulting firms.

In parallel, Porsche and TCS plan to collaborate with MHP in the fields of digital solutions and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development, scaling and integration of AI applications across key business areas. TCS’s acquisition of 100% of MHP remains subject to regulatory and antitrust approvals. Closing of the transaction is expected in the upcoming months.

Linklaters advised Porsche with a team led by Dr Ralph Wollburg, Dr Andreas Zenner (both Partners) and Mikhail Fufaev (Managing Associate, all Corporate/M&A, Dusseldorf). Linklaters regularly advises Porsche AG on corporate matters and strategic transac-tions, most recently on the disposal of its interests in the Bugatti Rimac joint venture and the Rimac Group.
