Linklaters advises Plastic Omnium on the acquisition of the Automotive Lighting Systems business of AMS OSRAM

Linklaters advised Plastic Omnium, a French industrial group specializing in the automotive sector, in its agreement with AMS OSRAM to acquire AMLS (Automotive Lighting Systems GmbH), a German company specialized in automotive lighting with revenues of approximately €150 million. Linklaters acted on merger control and foreign investment issues with a multi-jurisdictional analysis conducted at the global level. AMLS will provide Plastic Omnium with leading-edge expertise to develop innovative solutions for the automotive industry.

The Linklaters team in Paris was led by Anne Wachsmann (partner) and Nicolas Zacharie (counsel) for the Competition and Foreign Investment practice. The other aspects were handled by Jones Day in Germany.
