Linklaters advises PAI Partners on its LBO of Euro Ethnic Foods SA

Linklaters has advised the French private equity fund PAI Partners on the financing of its acquisition of a majority stake of 60% in Euro Ethnic Foods SA. The company’s founders, Léo and Patrick Bahadourian, will continue to own the remaining 40% of the business.

Euro Ethnic Foods SA owns and operates the grocery section of the Grand Frais stores, a French food retailer specialising in fresh food and groceries.
The financing was notably structured through first lien / second lien and as a sustainability linked financing in line with ESG criteria.

The multijurisdictional team was led, in Paris, by Kathryn Merryfield, partner, along with Neeloferr Roy, managing associate and Alexis Faou, associate; and in London, by Edward Aldred, partner, along with Pathik Gandhi, managing associate, Jack Naughton and Shruti Subramaniam, associates.
