
Linklaters has advised OPmobility, a world leader in sustainable mobility, in connection with its entry into a final agreement with Hyundai Mobis to acquire 100% of its lighting activity for an enterprise value of 600 billion Korean won (approximately €390 million).
This acquisition will reinforce OPmobility’s Lighting activity and strengthen its competitiveness in a fast-moving mobility industry. In line with OPmobility’s diversification strategy, it will also enhance the Group’s product portfolio, customer base and regional reach through five plants in South Korea, China, Mexico and the Czech Republic.
Closing of the acquisition is targeted for the second half of 2027, subject to obtaining customary antitrust and regulatory approvals.
