Linklaters has advised NEPI Rockcastle, the premier owner and operator of shopping centers in Central and Eastern Europe, on the acquisition of Atrium Copernicus Shopping Center, located in Toruń, Poland, from Atrium Retail. The agreed property value is EUR 127 million, subject to adjustments agreed by the parties.
Copernicus Shopping Center, with a gross leasable area of 48,000 sqm, is the dominant retail scheme in Toruń, at the city’s strategic location. It has a BREEAM In-Use Very Good certification and an occupancy rate of 98%, with anchor tenants including Auchan, H&M, Stradivarius, Media Markt, LPP and Decathlon.
The transaction was led by Janusz Dzianachowski (partner) and Jędrzej Pałka (senior associate), supported by Maksymilian Hau (associate) from Warsaw real estate practice.
