Linklaters advises Generali Real Estate on the acquisition of the prestigious Le Palais office building in Warsaw

Linklaters advised Generali Real Estate, an investor acting on behalf of the pan-European Generali Europe Income Holding (GEIH), on the acquisition of the prestigious Le Palais office building located in the centre of Warsaw. The seller was PATRIZIA AG.

Le Palais is a complex of two tenement houses from the 19th century in the Neo-Renaissance style. The buildings are located near the fashionable intersection of Próżna Street and Grzybowski Square in the center of Warsaw. In the years 2011-2013, the buildings were reconstructed and renovated, along with the extension and enlargement of the complex. The property is mainly used as an office building, and the total usable area of the complex is approximately 6500 sqm. The tenants are mainly consulting, financial and legal firms. The building is BREEAM Excellent certified.

The transaction was led by Janusz Dzianachowski (partner), supported by Zuzanna Lipska (managing associate) and Mateusz Korecki (associate) from the real estate team at Linklaters’ Warsaw office.
