Linklaters has advised Chariot Group, a company managed by Griffin Real Estate, the largest investment manager in private equity real estate in CEE, on the extension of the lease agreements with Auchan Poland relating to its six retail properties totaling 83,000 sqm.
Auchan is a French multinational retail group. The company decided to sign agreements to extend the lease of six properties belonging to Chariot in Szczecin, Rybnik, Słupsk, Gdańsk, Nowy Sącz and Lublin. The lease agreements were signed for the period of over 12 years. The transaction is undoubtedly one of the largest retail lease transaction that has been signed in Poland.
