Linklaters was lead deal counsel to C2 Energy Capital LLC and its principals on the successful closing of its sale of an 85% stake in its distributed solar platform, C2 Omega LLC, to EDP Renewables North America LLC (EDPR NA).
C2 Omega will be renamed EDPR NA Distributed Generation LLC (EDPR NA DG). The principals of C2 have retained a minority interest and continue to be engaged in the day-to-day operations of the business.
The transaction closed on March 1, 2021. The deal was announced in January 2021.
