Linklaters advices BNP Paribas and Citi in connection with the inaugural issue of Green Notes by Arkema

Linklaters has advised BNP Paribas and Citi as Joint Lead Managers, in connection with the inaugural issue of Green Bond by Arkema, a French chemicals group. An amount equivalent to the net proceeds will be used to finance and/or refinance the construction of a new Arkema production plant located in Singapore dedicated to the manufacture of Rilsan® polyamide 11, 100% derived from castor oil.

Successfully placed, this Green Bond has a maturity of 6 years and an annual coupon of 0.125%.

This issuance within Arkema’s Green Bond framework is aligned with ICMA Green Bonds Principles as set out in a Second Party Opinion provided by Vigeo Eiris.
