Latham & Watkins Advises the Special Committee of Navios Maritime Holdings in the Company’s Sale of its 36-Vessel Drybulk Fleet

Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. has announced a definitive agreement providing for the sale of its 36-vessel drybulk fleet for an aggregate consideration of approximately US$835 million consisting of cash and the assumption of bank debt and finance leases related to the vessels and subject to working capital adjustment at closing to Navios Maritime Partners L.P.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents the special committee of Navios Maritime Holdings in the transaction. The corporate deal team was led by Houston partners Nick Dhesi and Ryan Maierson, with associates Dan Harrist and Vera Bespalova. The finance team was led by Houston partner Matt Jones, with associates Max Fin and Chris Wood.
