Latham & Watkins has advised Swiss Life Asset Managers on the bank and institutional financing of its acquisition of an additional 12.53% stake in Spanish toll road operator Itínere Infraestructuras from APG, increasing its total stake in Itínere Infraestructuras to 37.60%. Itínere Infraestructuras is a leading Spanish infrastructure management company, operating five toll roads across Northern Spain that cover approximately 470 kilometres.
The Latham team was led by London infrastructure partners Seonaid Todisco and Conrad Andersen, with associate Lothar Krumpen. Advice on derivatives matters was provided by London counsel Delyth Hughes, with associate Airlia Hie; and on tax matters by London partner Karl Mah, with associate Ines Kilkelly.
