Origis Energy, one of America’s leading renewable energy and decarbonization solution platforms, has announced it has secured a tax equity commitment from J.P. Morgan for the Wheatland Solar project in Knox County, Indiana. The initial funding was made alongside the commitment.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised Origis Energy in the transaction with a Project Development & Finance team led by New York partner Kelly Cataldo. The Project Development & Finance team included associates James Lim, Ashley Pappenfus, Alexan Stulc, Josh Podolsky, and Yian Wang. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partner Jim Cole, with associate Molly Elkins.
