Latham & Watkins is advising Ares on the sale of Farrow & Ball to Hempel Group. Farrow & Ball is an iconic paint and wallpaper brand with a 75-year British heritage.
Latham advised the Ares Private Equity Group when it acquired Farrow & Ball in 2014 and has acted for the company since then. Farrow & Ball can be discovered worldwide at 60 showrooms in prominent cities, over 1,700 third party retail locations and through a rapidly growing e-commerce business.
The transaction is expected to close later this year.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner David Walker, with associates Cigi Puthuppally, Stephanie Dellosa, and Tom Channing.
