Latham & Watkins Advises on Financing to Support Kindeva Drug Delivery’s Combination With Meridian Medical Technologies

Kindeva Drug Delivery and Meridian Medical Technologies have announced the completion of the transaction to combine the two companies. The combination has created a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on drug-device combination products. The combination will operate under the Kindeva name, with Meridian operating as, “Meridian Medical Technologies, a Kindeva Company”.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the lenders to support the transaction with a finance team led by New York partners Stelios Saffos and Nicole Fanjul and Chicago counsel Shahid Jamil, with associate Katherine Page. Advice was also provided on healthcare matters by Bay Area counsel Betty Pang; on intellectual property matters by Bay Area partner Michelle Gross, with associate Irene Jang; on HIPAA matters by Bay Area partner Heather Deixler; on FDA matters by associate Chad Jennings; and on ERISA matters by Chicago partner Ben Rosemergy.
