Latham & Watkins has advised Fortress Investment Group, a leading, highly diversified global investment manager, and existing lender to Football Club des Girondins de Bordeaux (Bordeaux FC), in connection with the restructuring of the Club’s indebtedness that consequently enabled it to move back up to Ligue 2 after having been administratively relegated to National (division 3).
Latham had previously advised Fortress Investment Group on the sale and refinancing of Bordeaux FC in 2021.
