Latham & Watkins has advised B-Flexion, a private investment firm, on the sale of Affidea Group to Groupe Bruxelles Lambert.
Affidea is the largest European provider of advanced diagnostic imaging, outpatient, and cancer care services. Under B-Flexion’s ownership, the company has grown from 120 to over 320 centres across 15 European countries. With more than 1300 radiologists in its network, Affidea provides services to more than ten million patients annually.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Mike Turner, with associates Katie Kaplucha, Daria Les, and Hadi Najem. Advice was also provided on antitrust matters by London partner Jonathan Parker, with associates Anuj Ghai, James Mathieson, and Stephanie Adams; on employment matters by London partner Sarah Gadd; on finance matters by London partner Fergus O’Domhnaill, with associate Lewis Atherton; and on tax matters by London partner Karl Mah, with counsel James Leslie and associate Sam Duncan.
