Adept, a machine learning research and product lab building general intelligence, has announced the closing of a US$350 million Series B funding round, led by General Catalyst and Spark Capital.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised Adept in the financing with a corporate team led by Bay Area partners Ben Potter and Michael Podolny, with associates Christopher Pham and Justin Tzeng. Advice was also provided on intellectual property and technology transaction matters by Bay Area partner Anthony Klein and counsel Arielle Singh; and on benefits and compensation matters by Bay Area partner Ashley Wagner.
