The additional €1.2 billion comprises debt financing from new and existing financing partners, as well as equity contributions from Westconnect’s shareholders.
The financing will enable Westconnect’s second phase of its large scale fibre roll-out across Western Germany, focusing on open access to achieve high network utilization.
The Latham team was led by London infrastructure partners Conrad Andersen and Amanda Fortuna, Frankfurt partner Sibylle Münch and counsel Ralph Dräger, with London associates Jefferina Siganporia and Atharva Deshpande, and Frankfurt associate Caroline Bugiel. Advice was provided on derivatives matters by London partner Delyth Hughes, with associate Airlia Hie.
