
Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, has announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the property tax business of Altus Group Limited for C$700 million in cash, which includes its property tax services and software offerings in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented the lead arrangers for the debt financing to support the acquisition, with a team led by New York partners Paul Bonewitz and Jesse Sheff, and counsel Marcela Ruenes with associates Carlos Ibarguengoitia and Sharon Yin. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Bora Bozkurt, with associate Michael Yu.
