Latham & Watkins advised HSBC and Dowgate as joint global co-ordinators, and HSBC, Dowgate and Jefferies as joint bookrunners, on the £116 million cash placing by S4 Capital plc. The digital advertising and marketing services company, founded by Sir Martin Sorrell, placed approximately 7.5 per cent of its previously issued share capital in the transaction.
In light of the strong demand received both from existing investors and potential new holders, S4 Capital increased the size of the fundraising from approximately £100 million to £116 million.
Latham’s team was led by London corporate partner Chris Horton, with associates Koushik Prasad and Frederick Gardner. US securities advice was provided by partner Ryan Benedict.
