Latham & Watkins has advised Aimia Inc., a holding company focused on long-term global investments, and Paladin Private Equity, LLC, on their definitive agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Giovanni Bozzetto S.p.A. (Bozzetto Group), a leading ESG-focused provider of specialty chemicals, from Chequers Capital and other minority shareholders. The purchase price will be based on an enterprise value of approximately US$328 million. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions, is expected to close before the end of Q2 2023.
