
Kirkland represents GTCR and Corza Health, Inc., on the acquisition of TachoSil® Fibrin Sealant Patch from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (TSE:4502/NYSE:TAK). Corza Health was formed in 2019 as a partnership between private equity firm GTCR and healthcare industry veteran Gregory T. Lucier to build a market-leading healthcare business with a particular focus on the broader medical technology and life sciences sector. Takeda will receive €350 million in cash upon closing of the transaction, which is subject to customary legal and regulatory closing conditions.
