Kirkland & Ellis represented Warwick Capital Partners and GRP Energy Capital in a definitive purchase and sale agreement to sell certain mineral and royalty interests located in various oil and gas basins to Viper Energy Partners LP (NASDAQ:VNOM), a subsidiary of Diamondback Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:FANG), in exchange for aggregate consideration of approximately $1 billion, consisting of $750 million of cash and 9.02 million Viper common units, subject to customary adjustments
