Kirkland & Ellis advised HanesBrands (NYSE: HBI), a global leader in iconic apparel brands, on a cooperation agreement with shareholder Barington Capital Group, L.P. In connection with the agreement, HanesBrands added new independent directors to its board and Barington agreed to certain standstill, voting, confidentiality and other commitments.
