Kirkland & Ellis represented BRS & Co., a New York-based private equity firm, which announced the sale of Simpson Performance Products, a provider of critical safety equipment for the motorsports industry, on November 19. Simpson is a leading U.S. provider of critical safety equipment for motorsports applications including helmets, racing suits, and head and neck restraints and was acquired by BRS in 2015.
The Kirkland team included transactional partner Keri Schick Norton and associates Christopher Burwell and Alan Heisman, and tax partners David Grenker and Scott Fryman, with support from transactional partner Leo Greenberg.
