Kirkland & Ellis advised Apex Group, a global financial services provider, on its acquisition of Efficient Group (Pty) Ltd (“Efficient”) in South Africa. Efficient is the holding company of Boutique Collective Investments (RF) (Pty) Ltd and Boutique Investment Partners (Pty) Ltd, and following the completion of the acquisition, Efficient will be rebranded under the Apex Group banner. The transaction was announced on March 15, 2023, and remains subject to the approval of the Competition Commission.
