OpenAI is growing its IP team and wants an experienced trademark lawyer to lead its global trademark litigation and disputes strategy and oversee its wider brand protection practice. The role covers infringement, unfair competition and dilution matters from first assessment through resolution, directing outside counsel and advising senior leadership on significant disputes.
What the work involves:
- Running high-stakes trademark litigation and enforcement around the world
- Leading the team that handles clearance, prosecution, portfolio management and marketing counselling
- Working across Legal, Communications, Global Affairs, Marketing and Product on novel brand questions
The role is hybrid, three days a week in the San Francisco office, with relocation help. Published salary: $330,000 to $366,000.
