Hogan Lovells represents IDB Invest in US$300 million financing deal for Peruvian electricity

Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) in a US$300 million financing to Engie Energía Perú, a Peruvian electricity generator.

The financing, completed 5 August, has an 11-year term and is aimed at refinancing loans associated with the development of the Punta Lomitas wind farm located in Ocucaje, Ica, Peru.

IDB Invest is a multilateral development bank committed to promoting the economic development of its member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Hogan Lovells team included partners Ricardo Martínez (New York) and Federico de Noriega (Mexico City), counsel Todd Matras (New York), and associates Manuel Valdez (Mexico City) and Hikari Heap-Baldwin (Los Angeles).
