Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised White Bridge Investments, a leading investment firm, on the acquisition and related leveraged financing of a controlling stake in Axial Fans International S.p.A. (“AFI”), an Italian manufacturer of high-performance industrial fans, from the Mosiewicz family, which will reinvest alongside the incoming investor to retain a minority interest in the business.
AFI is a global leader in the design and manufacture of axial fans for industrial applications holding critical patents and proprietary engineering know-how. The transaction supports the company’s next phase of growth under White Bridge’s ownership.
The Hogan Lovells Cadwalader cross-practice team was led by Private Equity and M&A partner Alessandro Seganfreddo and Finance partner Iacopo Canino and comprised associates Stefania Maracich and Daniela Archi on M&A related aspects and associate Massimo Giordano on the financing aspects. Partner Giovanni Ghirardi, together with senior associate Andrea Schettino, associate Annalisa Aurilio and Gaia Fanelli advised on the IP aspects of the transaction.
