
London, 8 September 2026 – Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Wematch.live R&D Ltd (Wematch), a digital capital markets trading platform, on a strategic investment from funds advised by Apax Digital, the growth equity arm of Apax Partners LLP. Completion is expected in Q4 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Following completion, the Apax Digital Funds will become Wematch’s majority shareholder.
Wematch is a global regulated fintech platform providing digital solutions for securities finance markets, including total return swaps, securities lending and related financing structures. The investment will support Wematch’s continued international growth and product development.
The Hogan Lovells Cadwalader team comprised M&A partner Anthony Doolittle, associates Nick Cooke, Anjeli Sivakumar, Ben Littlewood and trainee solicitor Camilla Cerruti, working alongside relationship partner John Salmon.
