Munich/ Silicon Valley – Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised The Mobility House on the combination of its North America business with PowerFlex, creating North America’s leading fleet electrification provider.
The partnership brings together two pioneers in smart charging and fleet electrification, supporting the accelerating transition to electric transportation across North America. The combined organization will be uniquely positioned to serve the full spectrum of North American electrification needs from a single, integrated company, offering customers a comprehensive range of software, charging infrastructure, and energy management solutions, helping to reduce charging costs, improve resilience, and maximize energy efficiency. The transaction was implemented through a share swap, with The Mobility House becoming a shareholder in the combined business.
The Mobility House is a global technology company, providing innovative solutions that promote the expansion of renewable energy, stabilise the electricity grid and make electric mobility more affordable. Through The Mobility House North America with its base in Belmont, California, the company has established a market-leading position in the U.S. and Canada in the intelligent charging management of large school bus, public transport and other fleet depots as well as in integrating electric vehicles into the energy system.
PowerFlex is a leading provider of intelligent energy management, EV charging, solar, and battery storage solutions. The company has established a strong position in large-scale commercial fleet electrification and energy infrastructure deployment across North America.
