Clifford Chance advises Goldman Sachs, Intesa Sanpaolo and Natixis on €500 million financing for Webuild’s takeover offer for Trevi Finanziaria Industriale S.p.A.

Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, Intesa Sanpaolo (IMI CIB Division) and Natixis CIB as lending banks in connection with a €500 million financing agreement supporting the voluntary public takeover offer by Webuild S.p.A. for all shares in Trevi Finanziaria Industriale S.p.A.

Trevi Finanziaria Industriale is the holding company of the Trevi Group, an internationally active specialist engineering and foundation works business headquartered in Cesena, Italy. Webuild is one of the world’s leading construction and infrastructure groups.

The Clifford Chance team was led by partners David Neu and Giuseppe De Palma (both Debt Finance, Munich and Milan), together with counsel Stefano Parrochetti (Corporate, Milan) with further support by associate Asia Racines Carugo (Debt Finance, Munich) and senior associate Mario Martignago (Tax, Milan).
