
6 October 2026 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Fremman Capital on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Proteko S.p.A., a leading provider of workplace safety management services, from Finint Investments and funders, which will reinvest alongside the incoming investor to retain a minority interest in the business.
The Hogan Lovells Cadwalader cross-practice team advising Fremman Capital was led by Private Equity and M&A partners Ferigo Foscari and Alessandro Seganfreddo and Finance partner Bianca Caruso and comprised associates Stefania Maracich, Daniela Archi and Francesco Santella on M&A related aspects and associate Laura Leonelli on the financing aspects. Partner Luca Prefetti, together with senior associate Marina Roma advised on the administrative law aspects of the transaction. Finally, partner Domenico Gullo handled the antitrust and FDI aspects of the transaction, together with associate Flaminia Perna.
