Silicon Valley 22 June 2020 – International law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Synopsys, Inc., a global company in software and IP for semiconductor design and manufacturing, in its acquisition of the semiconductor and flat panel display solutions business from BISTel, an engineering equipment systems and AI applications provider for semiconductor smart manufacturing.
Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
The acquisition will broaden Synopsys’ industry-leading process control solutions for semiconductor fabs with an integrated and comprehensive yield management and prediction solution to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency.
