
Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised a banking syndicate consisting of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale, NATIXIS, Norddeutsche Landesbank – Girozentrale – (lead) and RBC Capital Markets (Europe) GmbH as Joint Lead Managers as well as HYPO NOE Landesbank für Niederösterreich und Wien AG and La Banque Postale as Co-Lead Managers on the placement of a Green Mortgage Pfandbrief of NORD/LB with an issue volume of EUR 750 million.
On 28 May 2026, the Pfandbrief was successfully placed and admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Hanover Stock Exchange. The Pfandbrief has a term of 3 years and a coupon of 3.000 percent.
The Pfandbrief was issued in accordance with the Green Funding Framework of NORD/LB as of January 2025, which follows the ICMA Green Bond Principles, as well as the vdp minimum standards for Green Covered Bonds. An amount equivalent to the net proceeds of the Green Mortgage Pfandbrief will be used to finance or refinance, in part or in full, new and/or existing green assets, loans and investments in the category Green Buildings as further outlined in the Green Funding Framework.
