Hogan Lovells advises banks on the issue of a benchmark bond by WIBank

Led by Frankfurt partner Jochen Seitz, Hogan Lovells advised a bank consortium consisting of Commerzbank AG, DZ Bank, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen, NATIXIS and UniCredit Bank AG on the issuance of a benchmark bond of Wirtschafts- und Infrastrukturbank Hessen (WIBank) with a total nominal amount of EUR 500 million.

The bond (ISIN DE000A2GSR47) was successfully issued on 7 May 2020. The order book was several times oversubscribed. With a term of seven years, the bonds bear interest at an annual rate of 0.01 per cent. Jochen Seitz and his team had already advised a consortium of banks in connection with the issue of a WIBank bond in 2018.
