Cruise LLC, a San Francisco-based company engaged in the development and commercialization of autonomous vehicle technology, has announced that it has acquired Voyage Auto Inc., an autonomous vehicle startup.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Cruise in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Bay Area partners Mark Bekheit and Tad Freese, with associates Kaitlyn Fulcher and Melinda Vanderburg. Advice was also provided on intellectual property matters by Bay Area partner Anthony Klein, with associate Adam Kaldor; on data privacy and security matters by Bay Area counsel Robert Blamires, with associate James Smith; on benefits and compensation matters by Bay Area partner Ashley Wagner, with associate Erik Ward; on tax matters by Bay Area partner Grace Lee, with associate Derek Berry.
