
Latham & Watkins represented Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company in an investigation launched by the European Commission in May 2021 on a possible abuse of a dominant position by The Coca Cola Company and European bottlers, including Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company. After two years, the European Commission decided to close the investigation without bringing any charge against the companies, stating it considered there was insufficient ground to continue the probe after thoroughly assessing evidence provided by Coca-Cola and other parties.
The Brussels team was led by antitrust partner, Luca Crocco, with partners Lars Kjolbye and Christos Malamataris, and associates Giuseppe Liotine, Anthemis Economou, Susanna Dittrich Ingunza, and Konstantinos Beikos-Paschalis.
